My Story

My life has followed a meandering journey. I would never have guessed I would be working as a therapist today, as I started off on a very different career path, namely, scientific research.

After doing a Masters degree in molecular biology and a Doctorate in neuroscience, I worked in the area of pharmaceutical and bio-research for several years.

After a significant life event, I left my corporate job and life presented me with the concept of natural healing and bioenergy therapies, which helped me to heal and - I dare say - kept me alive. At the same time, I started writing books, as my passion to write fiction stories arose.

I first studied Reiki with Pia Kummar in Basel in 2003 and received the first and second degree, Shoden and Okuden.

In 2009 I learned Bioenergy healing at the school of Zdenko Domancic, in Bled, Slovenia, and recieved the first degree.

In 2023 and 2024, I revisited Reiki at Yvette Plimmer´s Reiki School in Zürich, and completed the Shinpiden level to become Master & Teacher of Reiki.

In 2023 and 2024, I learned classical massage at Bodyfeet here in Rapperswil, following a guidance of a good friend Sabina Tischhauser, and my own massage therapist of many years, Ursi Grab.

Sabina was supportive and kind to let me practice classical massage in her own massage studio Relaxx, where her main focus is pain reduction.

As chance would have it, just as I was finishing my massage training, another good friend, Christine Ploner, who completed the Auramedizin education was looking for a partner to share a practice in the old town of Rapperswil.

And so, here we are!

I feel extremely grateful that I can pursue both of my passions: health therapy and fiction writing.

And I thank you for being a part of it too!

As a certified Reiki Master & Teacher, I practice according to the teachings of Sensei Mikao Usui, the Usui Shiki Ryoho natural healing system.

My Approach

I like to work intuitively. Clearly, a massage requires a very specific technique, a combination of manipulations and pressures, to give the best result (starting from the surface of the skin down to the muscles).

In Reiki, I learned to "feel" what I need to do and where I need to go next. I tend to use that principle in both my Reiki and massage treatments.

I believe we need health therapists now more than ever before, and I also trust that each individual will find the therapist that fits her or him best in that particular moment.

I look forward to being your therapist!
